William H. "Bill" Arner, 79 of South Buffalo Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 peacefully, at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. Bill was born on his family's farm in South Buffalo Twp., Armstrong Co. PA on May 23, 1941, a son of the late Hilda A. (Claypoole) and Harry C. Arner. Bill worked all his life on his family's Dairy Farm up until the farm was sold. He also worked as a foreman at Carpenter Town Coal & Coke in Tempelton for many years. After the coke plant shut down, Bill went to work at Brackenridge Country Club. Bill enjoyed working on his farm, mowing grass, hunting for arrowheads and spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynette "Sue" (Ruffaner) Arner. Two sons, Shawn Arner and Brandy Hill, of South Buffalo Twp. and Dr. Ryan and Lile Arner, of the city of Tbilisi in the country of Georgia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelsey (Andy) Lee, Devin Arner, Dylan Arner and Thomas Arner. Bill is also survived by his mother in law, Leona Ruffaner of Kittanning. and many cousins At the family's request there will be no public visitation and a private burial will be held in the Worthington United Presbyterian Cemetery in Worthington PA.
