William "Bill" E. Filer

William E. "Bill" "Uncle Bull" Filer, 60, of Freeport, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 7, 1965, a son of the late Gerry (Westendorf) and William R. Filer. Bill was a 1983 graduate of Freeport High School. He worked as a laborer at Hampton Supply Yard, Gibsonia. Bill enjoyed his motorcycle. He is survived by a brother, Robert K. (Sarah) Filer, of Las Vegas, NV, brother in law, Charles M. Reed of New Kensington, 5 nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Kurt) Martin, Jeremy Filer, William Reed, Tiffany (Shawn Czerwien) Reed, and Paige (Kenny) Craig and 5 great nieces and nephews, Rocco, Gianna, Gabriella and Lorenzo Czerwien and Emmett Craig. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Reed. There will be no visitation . A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
