Dennis A. Kotal, 55, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, July 6th, peacefully, at his residence. . Dennis was born in Freeport on May 28, 1956, the son of Rose Marie (Romiti) Kotal, of Melbourne, FL and the late Joseph A. Kotal. He worked for the Armstrong County Public Works for the past 23 years. He was a member of the White Star Lodge, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Dennis enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, and camping.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Tamela L. (Penvose) Kotal; sons Shawn Kotal of Worthington, and Dennis J. Kotal, stationed in Oklahoma; three sisters Kathy (Jim) Werb of Hermitage, Cindy Lowers of Hermitage, and Linda (Charles) Griffee, of Melbourne, FL; two brothers Joseph (Rose) Kotal of Melbourne, FL. and Robert Kotal of Philadelphia.; and nephew William Lowers of Miami, FL. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death his father, his good friend Bill Harbison.

At the family's request all service were held in private and a public memorial will be announced at a later date.
