Mrs. Antoinette U. Smith, 95, of Freeport, passed away at 8:12 PM, Wednesday, May 27th, 2009 peacefully at Fair Winds Manor, Winfield Twp., PA.

Antoinette was born in Freeport, PA on March 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Enrico and Christina (Nuti) Ugoletti. She was the widow of Chester A. Smith, Sr. who passed in 1989.

She was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Freeport, PA 16229.
Antoinette worked as a at Schenley Distillery in Schenley, PA., for 41 years 1976.
Before she developed macular degeneration she enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, making spaghetti sauce for her family and friends. She was a member of the White Star Club's Ladies Aux.

Antoinette is survived by her son,Chester A. (Jane) Smith, Jr. of New Kensington.
Granddaughters; Carolyn (Robert) Wallace of Bellingham, WA. and Amy (Richard) Yoder of Valparaiso, IN. 3 great grandchildren; Lauren, Zachary and Spencer Wallace of Bellingham, WA. Sister, Elva Berry of Freeport.

She is preceded in death by her 2 sisters; Edna Verardi and Rose Eshenbaugh. Her 2 brothers; Henry and Louis Ugoletti

Family and friends are being received on Friday 2-5 p.m.. at Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. Freeport, PA A Parish Wake Service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at in the funeral home.

A parting prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 am that will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Freeport, PA, at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 30th, with Father Raphael Glinkowski O.S.P.,officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to;
Freeport Meals on Wheels 211 4th St. Freeport, PA 16229 or St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church 608 High St. Freeport, PA 16229
