My deepest condolences to the family. I was a Libray aid back in the 70's and graduated in 1977. My senior year I spent every study hall there. He was a great teacher and a nice man.

As an adult,I would often see and talk to him at Travers's restaurant. I last saw David this past summer at AVH,my Dad and him were having radiation the same day. God Bless and May the Angels greet him at heavens door. Anita,Bob and Mario Leonard.

Even though it has been many years, I just wanted to say that Dave influenced my life a lot when I worked with him as the yearbook editor my senior year in high school in Leechburg in 1969. His professionalism and high standards carried with me when I went off to college and started my own professional life in education. I am so glad to have known him in my life.

Ramon Foster

When most did'nt give me a chance ,you picked me up and dusted me off and told me I had a chance.I thank you for helping to shape me into the man I have become.Thank you so much.

Dear Family and Friends Of David ,

I was very saddened to hear of his death on Wednesday. he was a very special man who had the most infectious smile. If he had one fault.. it was that he was too nice of a person. But, wouldn't the world be a better place if more people had that same fault.

My deepest sympathy . He will be missed.

Wes Stull

To Dave's Family I send my deepest sympathies! As a friend a college roommate, Dave was the best. My memories of our college days, travels together, trips to Pittsburgh and all of the fun are, right now, bitter-sweet. Dave's brave fight against his illness will always be an inspiration. Through my tears, I'll always miss his great sense of humor and caring love for all. Goodbye, my friend!

Karla Cogley

I am truly sorry for your loss. Dave was my "boss" when I was on the yearbook staff at Leechburg High. I counted Dave as a friend in the years following school. He will be missed, but alway fondly remembered!
