Mr. C. Leon "Lee" Hetrick, 72, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away at 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 28th, 2008 while in the company of family members at his residence. Mr. Hetrick was born in the Birdville section of Natrona Heights, PA on June 26, 1936, the son of the late Madison Earl and Margaret (Dininger) Hetrick.He was a member of Srader Grove United Presbyterian Freeport, PA 16229. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Carson Industries in Freeport, PA., for 31 years, retiring in 2002. He had previously worked for Allegheny Ludlum Research for 18 years Lee was very involved with little baseball and the Cub Scouts when his boys were young. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking, hunting for arrowheads and cutting fire wood. He was a member of the Srader Grove United Presbyterian Church men's breakfast club. Lee is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Holmes) Hetrick. 2 daughters; Marsha (Hank) McMasters of Nu Mine, PA., Karen (Gary) Frayer of Blooming Valley, PA. 3 sons: Michael (Mary Jane) Hetrick of Bethel, Twp.., Doug (Lori) Hetrick of Union City, PA., Thomas (Bobbie Sue) Hetrick of South Buffalo Twp. His 2 sisters: Mary Ellen Austin of South Buffalo Twp.., Alice Ann Johnson of Natrona Heights and his brother, Cal (Marianne) Hetrick of Buffalo Twp..He is also survived by his 11 grand and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded by his sister, Jeanie Carson.At the family's request there will be no visitation. Memorial Service at at Srader Grove United Presbyterian, Freeport, PA, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th, with Lay Minister Lloyd Riggle officiating. Interment private at convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Butler VNA 154 Hindman Rd. Butler, PA 16001
