Mrs. Betty Mae Noble, 86, of Slate Lick, passed away at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11th, 2008 peacefully at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital, East Franklin, PA.Mrs. Noble was born in Kittanning, PA on February 13, 1922, the daughter of the late Howard and Mable (Camp) White. She was the widow of Charles Dale Noble who had passed away in 2003.She was a member of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church Freeport, PA 16229. Betty was a homemaker She had also worked at the G&C Murphy's Store in Kittanning and was a letter carrier for the Freeport Post office for many years. Betty and her husband had bowled in a couples league in Natrona Heights for many years. Mrs. Noble is survived by her daughter, Susan (Dr. Sanford) Kempin of New York, NY.2 step-grandsons, Michael (Alicia) Kempin of Scarsdale, NY, Jason (Jennifer) Kempin of Brooklyn, NY. 2 Great grandson, Zachary and Jacob Kempin. Nephew, Paul R. White of Pittsburgh and a cousin Charles William "Bill" (Margaret "Peg") White of Springdale.Preceded in death by her brother, Paul WhiteFamily and friends are being received on Thursday June 12th from 6-8 p.m. in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 High St. Freeport, PA .There will be public visitation from 10-11 am at the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church on Friday June 13th to be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Davis officiating. Burial will be held at the Slate Lick Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church 106 Brown Rd.
