Our thoughts and prayers go out to Florence's family. Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church Staff just wants to tell the family how beloved Florence was in our church. She will be very missed and please contact us if there is anything we can do or if a memorial service needs to be planned in Naples, FL. God bless Florence!

Larry and family,

Both my mother and I would like to express our condolences and let you know our prayers are with you. We are glad you can take comfort in the fact that your mother's passing was peaceful and surrounded with love. You were there for our family this summer and if there is anything we can do for you please reach out. Know that your brother is there to look after your mom like mine is to look after my Nana. And they will all be watching over us to take care of one another.

Rev. Don and Joan Sherman

Dear Family of Florence Keefer,

I wish to express my sincere and deepest sympathy upon hearing of the death of your mother.

Florence was instrumental in starting the Bible Study each Monday evening at Aston Gardens. She sat at my immediate left hand and took in every word. She knew her Lord and Saviour and drew others to know Him as a personal friend. She might have looked small and frail, but she stood tall before the Lord.

It has been my priviledge to know her and her warm smile and love of Jesus.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Don Sherman

You have my sympathy, Sharon. I have many wonderful memories of your mom. Rainbow Girls was so special because of her. I remember her smile and how she made me feel special.

We had such good times.I didn't know about Jay's death until I read the paper last night. My sympathy there also. There was a time when I thought there was noone in this world like Jay Keefer. I'm sorry he died so young.

I pray that the good memories will comfort you in the days ahead. I found thru my mother's death after 10 years of cancer at 68 y.o. to my father's death at age 91 that it doesn't matter whether they are young and it's sudden or old and expected you are never ready for them to leave you.

I will continue to pray for you and for Larry.

Love and Prayers,

Kathie

Larry and Lisa,

A hug. I know how difficult it is to loose a parent. No matter how well "prepared" we think we are, we still grieve. Reflect on all the good memories with family and friends. Let us help you as you have helped your Mom and others.

Mary (Keefer) Felker

Sharon and Larry,

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I did not know that Florence had returned to the area. Nor did I know about Jay's passing. I am saddened to know of these difficult times for you and your families.

Your mom's strength and resiliency was always apparent, and such an inspiration. She loved life and lived it fully. She never stopped learning. She was a lady in every sense of the word.

I have always be thankful for the short time that I was part of your family. It is comforting to know that Paul is surrounded by family once again.

with love, Mary
