Collin Gregory Seagriff, 22, of Freeport, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, in New Port Richey, Fla. Collin was born Sept. 15, 1994, in Kansas City, Kan. He was the son of JoLynn (Baker) Seagriff and James M. Seagriff III, of Freeport. Collin was a 2013 graduate of Freeport Area High School, and had attended Pittsburgh Technical College for welding. Collin had moved to Florida to work as a welder in the construction industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, watching movies, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, Collin is survived by three brothers, Cody Alan Seagriff, of Wheeling, W.V.; Dylan Cole Seagriff, of Edmon, Pa., and J. Dalton Seagriff, of Freeport; little sister, Caroline Grace Seagriff, of Freeport; fiancee, Brittany Logue; maternal grandfather, Donald H. Baker, of Lower Burrell; paternal grandmother, Lida M. (Younkins) Seagriff, of Freeport; paternal great-grandmothers, Dorothy Seagriff, of Freeport, and Marion Younkins, of the Clinton section of South Buffalo Township; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James M. Seagriff Jr.; and maternal grandmother, Carol (McArdle) Baker. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, with Pastor Jayne French officiating. Again, JoLynn, you and your family are in my prayers and positive thoughts. This is a tragic loss. Such a devastating loss is very difficult to understand. This will hurt for a long time. Find someone who is willing to listen to you as you deal with this grief. It is important to express the hurt. Sending you my deepest condolences and sympathy!

Our hearts go out to Collins family and friends. Collin had just started working here a few months ago. We were all just starting to get to know him. He was a valued employee, always willing to learn and help anyone who needed help. He was a quick learner and a good welder. He will be missed !
