Bonita J. "Bonny" Myers, 74, of Salisbury, PA passed away Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 while in the company of family, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Bonnie was a long time resident of Buffalo Twp. Bonnie was born in Natrona Heights, PA on June 24, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Carrie E. (Durst) and Andrew W. Durst. Bonny was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She had worked at Outlook Pointe in Saxonburg as an activities director for a number of years. Bonny is a member of the Oak Dale Church in Salisbury. Bonny enjoyed playing bingo, reading and spending time with her family. Bonny is survived by her daughter and son in law, Amy & George Sipple of Salisbury, PA Her grandchildren, Warren Beitzel, Emily Hunt (Steven). Great grandchildren, Za'Naviah Beitzel and Brody Hunt. Step grandchildren, Jessica Carey (Chris) and James Sipple, Step great grandchildren, Declan & Allison Carey. She is also survived by her brother and sister in law, David & Janet Durst. nephews- Mark Durst (Vicki), Mike Durst (Pam), Bruce Durst (Terry) & niece Karen Jones ( Bill) and numerous great nieces & nephews. Family and friends will be received on on Friday, May 4th 4-7 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA Public visitation will continue on Saturday May 5th from 12-3 pm in the Oak Dale Church 9201 Mason Dixon Highway, Salisbury. Funeral service will be held in the church following the visitation at 3 pm with Pastor Joseph Byler officiating. Burial will be held in Springs Mennonite Church Cemetery, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; The Mary Grace Hospice Foundation 322 Warren St., Suite 250, Johnstown, PA 15905
