James M. Cornman, Jr., 56, of Freeport, passed away Saturday, February 9th, 2019 peacefully, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, in Natrona Heights. Jim was born in Natrona Heights, on December 26, 1962, a son of the late Margaret E. (Valasek) and James M. Cornman, Sr . He was worked for over 20 years as a mechanic with American Beverage Corp. in Verona. Jim was amateur archeologist. He loved looking for arrow heads and other artifacts. He enjoyed watching the Penguins. He enjoyed making and watching fireworks. Jim is survived by his long time companion, Crystal A. Brendle. His son, James M. Cornman, III and his companion, Amber. His brother, Troy A. & Chrissy Cornman, Sr., of Allegheny Twp. He is also survived by his step mother, Denise Cornman. Nephew, Troy A. Cornman, Jr and niece, Miranda Cornman and two step sisters, Shanna Febinger and Kerri Febinger Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 1-3 & 5-7 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 7:00 pm with Pastor Adam Clever of the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport, officiating.
