Mr. and Mrs. Ross, family, and Sharon,

I just wanted to extend my sympathy to all of you. I met Chuck at Harmarville Rehab after my stroke last April. Chuck was very easy to talk to and always had encouraging words for everyone, even though he too was recuperating. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with all of you.

On behalf of my father, brother and sisters I am sending my families deepest heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your son, your brother, your longtime companion and our friend.

Through my father's longtime friendship, my family had learned and on wonderful occasions seen for ourselves that Chuckie was indeed an incredibly skilled outdoorsman in his own right. But far more impressionable to all of us was experiencing his sincere pleasure in someone else's "catch", "shot" or "bulls eye".

When Chuckie was fishing with us there were always plenty of fish to eat, stories told with roars of laughter well into the wee hours. His enthusiasm and love of the outdoors will be what lives in our hearts and mind. Our prayers are with you and all his family and friends at this time of deep sorrow.
