Mr. Clarence S. (Cutty) Conaway, 76, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away at 8:30 AM, Friday, March 14th, 2008 peacefully at his home. Mr. Conaway was born in New Bethlehem, PA on July 5, 1931, the son of the late William and Mary Ethel (Patrick).Conaway, Sr.Cuttywas a member of Rogers Chapel United Methodist Church, SouthBuffalo, PAHe worked as a Crane operator at Allegheny Ludlum Brackenridge., for 42 years retiring in 1993. Cutty was a member of the Kit-Han-ee Rock and Gem Club. He enjoyed gambling, making jewelry, collecting gemstones, hunting, and fishing. He survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean (Hartman) Conaway, 2 sons, Barry (Pam) Conaway, of South Buffalo Twp. and Michael (Renee) Conaway of Kittanning. His daughter Sylvia (John) Stewart of Kittanning Twp. Sister, Sarah Bowser of Taylor Mill, KY. 8 grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, Greg, Brett, and Brenna Conaway, and Melanie Moore, Megan Rehrer, and Philip Stewart and 10 great-grandsons.He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James Conaway, Jr. and Charles Conaway.Family and friends are being received on Saturday March 15th from 7-9 PM and Sunday March 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, INC.. 524 High St. Freeport, PA.A funeral service will be held at Rogers Chapel United Methodist Church, South Buffalo, PA, at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 17th, with Rev.
