Sarah E. Geibel, 91, of Winfield Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 23rd, peacefully, at The Manor of Whitehall, Whitehall, Franklin County, OH. Sarah was born in Kittanning, on September 27, 1926, a daughter of the late Mildred (Kennedy) Shaner and O.C. Stewart. She was the widow of Donald P. Geibel who passed away in July of this year. Sarah worked as a school bus driver for Bauman Bus Company for 31 years, retiring in 1997. She had also worked as a picker for Moonlight Mushroom. Sarah enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family Sarah is survived by her two step daughters, Donna & Paul Jahn, of Butler; Roseann & Donald Zirnsak, of Connoquenessing, step son,Donald J. Geibel, of Butler and a sister, Lugene S. Young, of South Buffalo Twp. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jennifer Newton, Becky Jahn, Joel Tebay, Sr. Sean & Darlene Montgomery and James W. Montgomery, Jr. Great grandchildren; Fiona Newton, Jacob Davis, Joel Tebay, Jr., Alexander & Stephanie Montgomery, Zachary & Seanna Montgomery, Wesley Montgomery & Brenda Montgomery In addition to her parents and husband. Sarah is preceded by her daughter, Brenda Montgomery, brother, Jack Shaner and step father, Charles Shaner Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 28th from 7-9 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA Funeral service will held on Saturday, September 29th at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Mark Davis of the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
