Yvonne Glee Ross, 81, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Thursday, March 12th, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Yvonne was born in Natrona Heights, on January 22, 1939, a daughter of the late Jean (Mueller) and Martin E. McClure. She was of the Protestant faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Yvonne volunteered as a receptionist at Allegheny Valley Hospital for several years.She lived her life caring for others and always had a smile on her face. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved hosting the holidays. She was an animal lover as well, especially her cats. Yvonne is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Tim) Zellsman, of Buffalo Twp., and Kathy Settlemire, of Mars; three sons Harry A. (Penny) Ross, of Buffalo Twp.; Alan J. Ross, of South Buffalo Twp. and Robert M. Ross, of Buffalo Twp. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Donald (Jean) McClure of Buffalo Twp., David McClure, of Buffalo Twp.; Richard McClure, of Butler and her long time companion, Tom Brunner.  Besides her parents, Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband Wendell L. Ross, Sr.; 2 sons, Wendell Ross Jr. and Ronald Ross, sisters Dianne Shaw and Arlene Kneiss, and her brother Damon McClure. Family and friends will be received on Sunday March 15th from 12-2 & 4-6 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Walker officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association 400 Penn Center Blvd #524, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

I loved Yvonne’s laugh, and really enjoyed when we played cards together. My sympathies are being sent to all who knew and loved Yvonne. May God wrap His loving arms around each of you, and give you comfort and peace.

Yvonne was such a loving lady whose laugh and smile were contagious. I met her when i was an EMT for Buffalo EMS. Her kindness, her loving ways--She will be missed--Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends- May wonderful memories bring comfort during this sad time of loss

I am so truly sorry for all the family of Yvonne. She was a wonderful woman and always always had a smile on her face and always a good word for everyone. As a child growing up I spent a lot of time at their house Debbie Zellsman was my best friend and we still remain friends. May you Rest In Peace and I loved you very much!😪
