Arlene J. Orris, 78, of Buffalo Township, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, while in the company of family at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Arlene was born Dec. 12, 1938, in Natrona Heights. She was the daughter of the late Helen (Lasinski) and John "Lefty" Venderlic. She was employed as an office manager for Dr. Charles P. Ashe, in Natrona Heights, for more than 20 years. Arlene enjoyed spending time in her swimming pool and listening to music. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and going out to dinner together. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 56 years, H. Robert Orris; their two sons; Brett (Jill) Orris, of Saxonburg, and Craig (Terri) Orris, of Buffalo Township; her sister, Jean Ann (John) Dudas, of Buffalo Township. Arlene was also a devoted grandmother. Her granddaughter, Kendall, was the light of her life. She was so proud of all of Kendall's accomplishments. Arlene was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Kenneth Jenkins.

Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, in the funeral home, with Pastor Barbara Ravenstahl officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children and Youth Services 124 West Diamond St., P.O. Box 1208 Butler, PA 16003.
